Fly Tipping

  What is fly tipping? Fly-tipping is putting rubbish or waste anywhere where it does not belong.

Fly tipping can range from one black bag to a lorry load of items.

Fly tipping is a criminal offence and anyone that is caught fly tipping can be fined up to 50,000 and/or sent to prison for up to five years.

The Enforcement Officers at Charnwood Borough Council prosecute people for fly tipping. If you see a fly tip you should call 01509 634564.
